Today I did a session at a client’s house and had a very interesting experience.  For those of you who have not tried a Spiritual Regression session, the session is usually done with the client laying comfortably in the bed snuggled into the covers.  The sessions are usually conducted with the client only, no spectators allowed.

But I ran into an interesting situation today.  The client sleeps with her cat  in the room and was concerned that if the cat was locked out of the room during the session, he will complain outside the door for the rest of the session — thereby distracting the client and compromise her ability to relax and go into a deep state of trance.

So, I made an exception to the rule and allowed Mr. Feline to stay.  When my client got herself settled in bed, the cat immediately jumped on the bed and started to put his fluffy paws all over her.  It was explained that this is usually their bedtime routine and I just sat there patiently for both my client and her cat to relax and settle down.  When I felt like the paws are off my client I thought I would begin the session.

Five minutes into the guided visualization process, the big fluffy cat got up and jumped off the bed and settled in another chair facing me. As I went further along with the guided visualization, I noticed the cat’s eyes were also starting to get droopy and by the time I noticed the cat again, he had his eyes closed!

Throughout the whole entire Spiritual Regression session, Mr. Feline remained still and “seemingly asleep” as I worked with my client.  The session was a very successful one.  My client recalled two past lives and had all of her questions answered by her own Inner Wisdom / Higher Self.  After all her questions were resolved by her Inner Wisdom, I started to get ready to bring my client out of the trance state.

Being mindful that Mr. Feline was still “asleep”, I spoke in a slower and softer tone than usual because I didn’t want to disturb the “cat nap”.  As I began counting, “1, 2, you are breathing a little faster,”  I noticed a little flicker in Mr. Feline’s tail.  I continued to count my way up and by the time I get to “3, 4…you can move the arms and legs around…,” I see that the cat moved his legs a bit.  By the time I get to “9,10 — wide awake, wide awake…” I noticed the cat’s eyes had opened and looking sheepishly at me.  I couldn’t believe my eyes. Did Mr. Feline just have a Spiritual Regression too?

I said to my client, “You  know, your cat was asleep the whole time you were in session.”

My client turned and looked at her cat and said, “So, were you a mouse in your past life?”

“Meowwww~~~” Replied the cat.
